Support

BESS users are supported via our: 

• Helpdesk (via the Contact Form) - use the contact form to ask any questions about using BESS tools. 
• User Guide - general information about how to use BESS tools (account creation, project management, navigation, reports etc). 
• Tool Notes - information on categories and credits / standards within BESS tools. There is a version of the Tool Notes for each BESS tool, and for each engine within a tool.
• BESS Training - online courses to learn how to use BESS tools. 

Council staff can assist BESS users with respect to individual BESS assessments and reports. 

Sustainable design fact sheets

The Sustainable design fact sheets are designed to support any project looking to embed sustainable design, including those undertaking a BESS assessment. They provide more detailed information about how to design well across each of the sustainable design categories, for both buildings and subdivisions.
